Mandi is the founder and admin of Obsidian Butterfly and a goof ball. She's Australian, so she keeps funny hours. An aspiring writer, Mandi is currently a student at a TAFE in Melbourne. She's formally the staff advocate for Project Erinyes, the Pack, the Kiss, and Animators/Necromancers. She is also a full staff member and can approve accounts/answer questions as needed. She doesn't bite. We swear.

Jayme is an admin and a vampire. No, seriously. Aside from that fact, Jayme is located on the east coast of the United States, but don't be fooled: she keeps night hours, too. She works two jobs and is in and out all day long. She's the staff advocate for the Unseelie, the Pard, Witches and Misc. Species, which is really just a cover for the fact that she wants to be a mermaid. She is also a full staff member and will answer questions in return for sushi. Please give.

Ru (sometimes known as Rucifer or the Caffeine Star) holds the official rank of co-admin and when she's not on Obsidian Butterfly, it's because she's raiding a coffee shop or slingin' meat between bread. She is the staff advocate for the Mythicals, the Skulk, the Flock and the Shades, and she is a full staff member who will help you if you manage to spot her. She is a rare Pokemon.

Vanessa, better known as Vi (for Vendetta!) is one of the global moderators on Obsidian Butterfly. The de-facto worker bee and official minion of the staff, Vi can usually be counted on to update ALL THE THINGS in a ridiculously timely fashion. Like. Thirty seconds after you post it. She hails from St. Louis (wat) and is prone to stalking the houses of people's characters. She is the staff advocate of the Rodere, the Pride, the Cackle and the Streak. Also hot mens. All the hot mens.

Loo is a creepy perverted old man. That or a 20-something vegetarian who is lactose intolerant so basically she eats like a rabbit. One or the other. She really likes hummus, wine and microbes. When she's not plotting biological warfare, rumor has it that she's hugging trees (she's from the northwest, which we feel explains all of this). She is the staff advocate for the Jamboree, the Humans, the Bounty Hunters, and the Seelie... and alcohol. Always alcohol.

Obsidian Butterfly was created by MANDI and is set in St. Louis, MO, in a unique fusion of the Anita Blake and Merry Gentry universes as created by Laurell K. Hamilton. The skin codes were created by their respective designers (see the footer of each skin) and were edited by JAYME, MANDI and RU. Graphics were created for each skin by the three admins as well, unless otherwise stated in the skin itself. We'd also like to offer a special thanks to Vi for helping with the move to Jcink.

Powers, descriptions and board information were created either by the staff or the members and should never be used outside of Obsidian Butterfly without permission from their creators.
